artistic Director & coFounder

Having been bitten by the showbiz bug at a very young age, Eva Valentina has dedicated her life to the magic of production. Originally specializing in the area of performing arts, Eva extensively trained in a variety of disciplines including acting, dancing, improv and music. She was an active member of the Kennedy Center Theater for the Young and regularly performed in regional plays, musicals, concerts, and dance competitions. Eva’s passion for the stage gradually transformed into a love for cinema, and in 1998, Eva moved to California and enrolled in the Motion Pictures and Television Department of the Academy of Art University where she majored in screenwriting and directing. After graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2003, Eva promptly went to work in a range of capacities on numerous film, television and new media projects. In 2006, her Spanish language short film, Desde El Otro Lado, was showcased in the San Juan International Film Festival. It was also during this period where Eva began her entrepreneurial career helping found two San Francisco-based production companies .

In 2009, Eva's admiration for the stage was re-kindled after studying the art of burlesque at the School of Shimmy under the notable Dottie Lux. Instantly, Eva took to the burlesque scene, both as a performer and stage kitten, and graced the stages of such acclaimed shows as Red Hots Burlesque, First Friday Follies, and Hubba Hubba Revue at The Uptown. Inspired by a trip to Paris in late 2009, Eva teamed up with burlesque legend, Isis Starr, to create an homage to the early years of music-hall and cabaret; and in July 2010, Burlesque Moulin was born.

Since its debut, Eva has had the pleasure to feature top billing burlesque and cabaret talent. Her shows have been hailed as being “an explosion of feminine sexuality” and have been greeted by enthusiastic, often sold out audiences. Eva continues to bring her love of art and attention to detail to each and every production, and is currently hard at work at creating Burlesque Moulin Paris.

Director of Operations

Yohan Blanc is no stranger to the fast-paced demands of a successful production. Having originally studied science at the University of Paris XI, Yohan went on to pursue an education in 3D animation at the notable ISART Digital in Paris. Upon graduation, Yohan put his hard-earned organizational skills to work and helped found “Les Chemins d’Orlac”, a French production company specializing in industrial and commercial videos. In 2007, Yohan’s path took him once again to the classrooms of ISART only this time in an executive capacity. For 5 years, he worked as Director of the 3D Animation Department concentrating on the creation and organization of the schools’ animation programs and operated in the role of Line Producer on all the short films produced by his department in those years.

On one of many business-related trips to San Francisco, Yohan met Eva Valentina and discovered the burlesque world.  In 2011, he joined the Burlesque Moulin team as Director of Operations. Yohan has continued to expanded his business endeavors, most recently founding “L’Institut Artline,” France’s first online 3D Animation school.

Producer - Cofounder, Burlesque Moulin Paris

Originally from Northern California, Elena was bitten by the theatre bug at the age of twelve.  She began performing in local productions and taking classes: acting, improvisation, dance, and singing, honing her skills to become a top-notch performer.  Her adventurous spirit and thirst for discovery brought her to France where she put down roots. Wanting to do more than just act in other’s productions, she co-founded the Théâtre du Partage and produced three shows, including a show that she toured through France and Corsica.

In 2011 she created Words Up!, an English theatre cooperative. Words Up! programmed and produced 10 shows, three of which Elena starred in, one of which she created and one of which she directed. In 2012, with the collaboration of Morgan Eustache, she co-created Far West Théâtre Equestre, a company that creates equestrian theatre. Always looking for new performance art forms, new projects, new people, Elena is a creative powerhouse who does it all: performing, writing, directing, producing;  theatre, film, voice, equestrian shows, and of course, new burlesque!
